18 - Tripping Out

'Tripping out' emerged in the 1960s U.S. counterculture, linked to LSD and psychedelics. It describes hallucinating or mentally journeying during a drug "trip," popularised by Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters around 1964 (think bus adventures and acid tests). By the 1970s, it broadened to mean freaking out or zoning out intensely.

Ultimately though, this is a fun piece which you are free to interpret however you like. 😅
