This piece is a reference to The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) - the tenth James Bond film, starring Roger Moore as 007 teaming up with Soviet agent Anya Amasova (Barbara Bach) to stop megalomaniac Karl Stromberg from hijacking British and Russian nuclear subs to spark global war and build his underwater utopia Atlantis. Packed with gadgets like the Lotus Esprit sub-car, epic ski chases, and the debut of steel-toothed henchman Jaws (Richard Kiel), it raked in $185 million on a $14 million budget, earned three Oscar nods, and became one of Moore's biggest hits.
