I’m Linda Radosinska, an artist and Creative Director based in Melbourne, Australia.

In 2025, I was diagnosed with a large acoustic neuroma and had 13 hours of brain surgery to have it removed. During my recovery I had a lot of time to think about life, purpose and what had just happened to me.

I realised just how lucky I was to survive such a thing, and how easily my already devastating diagnosis could have been even worse. I discovered that every 5 hours someone in Australia is diagnosed with brain cancer, that it claims more lives than our roads and that it kills more children than any other type of illness.

But this is a global problem, not an Australian one. Every year some 300,000+ patients, their families, friends and clinicians carry the physical, financial and emotional toll of this horrific disease. But if we can find a cure in Australia, we can help them all.
