Love is a theme that features a few times in the Neurospicy Art collection and today’s piece is a beautiful example of those crisp lines and glorious colours that show up so prominently in my work.

Inspired by the hormone and brain chemical that helps the body with reproduction and bonding, Oxytocin is a delightful piece that brings me a lot of joy whenever I look at it.

Oxytocin is made in a part of the brain called the hypothalamus and released into the blood by the pituitary gland.

Often nicknamed the “love hormone” because it is linked to closeness, trust, and social bonding, oxytocin is involved in forming emotional bonds, such as between partners, parents and children, and close friends.

It can help reduce stress and anxiety and is linked to feelings of calm, safety, and connection.
