AND WE’RE LIVE!
The big day is finally upon us and Neurospicy Art will be launching this evening at Honey Bones gallery in Brunswick.
50 something pieces from the 109 NSA collection have all been printed and beautifully framed and will be on display for your viewing pleasure at 46 Trafford Street until the 12th of October.
The first part of this project was realeased last night at the opening of the Cause + Effect show at B-Side gallery in Fitzroy and it went really, really well. Thank you to everyone who came along.
But today is another big day for me.
I am officially 6 months post op and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate this important personal milestone than by releasing this project. It is the end of 4 months of hard work and a lifetime of preparation.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people because even though I am the one who gets to hit ‘publish’ when the time comes, and my name is on all the things, this project also very much belongs to the following people who all had a hand in bringing it to life in some capacity. I might carry the overall responsibility for this project, but I couldn’t do it without a team of amazing people behind me every step of the way.
Thank you to:
Toby Simm and Kaitlyn Fisher at Left Bank Art Group for all their help and support over the last couple of months. Toby thank you for having faith in my vision and for being kind and accommodating. Kaitlyn thank you for being diligent, reliable and awesome. I can think of no better people to have partnered with and I have total faith and trust in your ability to care for this project in the way that it should be.
Thank you to Nathan Drong and the team at DFLOW, who built a custom integration for us in less than 3 weeks, and were just awesome to deal with.
Richard Southall for helping me with the legal side of things for NSA. I scarcely know where to begin in thanking you for all the support you have given me over the years.
And finally, thank you to Dr. Neurosurgeon and all of the amazing people at the RMH who took such good care of me in March and April of this year. Sometimes, gratitude can only be expressed in deeds, not words.
