24 - Black Holes & Revelations / The Subtle Rules The Dense
I listened to a lot of Muse while I was working on this project, and this piece was inspired by one of my favourite albums of theirs.
I'm really sensitive to sound and so music plays a big part in my creative process.
"The Subtle Rules the Dense" is a phrase that has its origins in hermeticism but also holds true in the context of quantum physics broadly speaking.
You wouldn't ever hear the phrase uttered by scientists, but the quantum world underpins and rules the macroscopic reality that we perceive in classical terms so this phrase is a conceptual overlap that bridges spiritual philosophy and quantum physics metaphorically.
Black holes in physics are mysterious cosmic phenomena where gravity is so intense that not even light escapes, symbolizing hidden, powerful forces that shape the universe.
Revelations imply uncovering deeper truths or insights beneath surface appearances.
"Black Holes and Revelations" ties into 'The Subtle Rules The Dense' by symbolizing how hidden, powerful cosmic or metaphysical forces (subtle) impact the larger, observable universe (dense), much like how subtle quantum realities influence the classical world or how esoteric wisdom speaks of hidden laws shaping visible phenomena.
